Are there any extras to pay?

No, there are no extras to pay, what you see is what you get. All the facilities that we give as a standard package, you are usually charged extra from most other hosting companies.

FTP access?

Yes, and full FTP access

Can I use Frontpage?

Of course you can, this is an option you can select from your own personal control panel.

Do I actually get SSL, Password Protected Pages and unlimited MySql Databases?

Yes you do.

You access your site via a ftp client, see the Downloads & Links Page for a free program.

Our servers are Ultra-Fast LINUX based.

Unix servers are case sensitive - i.e. INDEX.html is different to index.html.

Set your ftp client to: ftp.250net.co.uk (This is the ftp address for 250mb.net)

Insert your user name (supplied by 250mb.net) into your ftp client.

Insert your password (supplied by 250mb.net - you can change this later if you want, using your own personal control panel)

Upload your pages! It's that easy!

cgi-bin

cgi-bin is automatically installed on your site, you can use perl scripts and other scripts via this folder.

Path

Just go to your Control Panel and look in "Documents", this will provide all the technical information you will need.

If you are using Dreamweaver , just set up a folder on you hard drive named after your website.

How do I get an account?

First choose your desired domain name using our WHOIS domain name search program on our home page.

To pay by credit/debit card, simply fill in the on-line order form . This method uses 128 bit encryption so your details are safe and secure over the Internet.
